Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision where a pedestrian in his 50s was struck by a bus on N83, Claregalway.

The sole occupant of the car, a man in his twenties, was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Dagenham. The incident happened outside Chadwell Heath station just before 8.30am today (November 19). Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found the woman injured. She was taken to hospital where her condition was assessed as non-life threatening.

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Sidcup, with non-life threatening injuries.
