Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of an incident involving a Bus Éireann vehicle on North Earl Street in Dublin city centre. Debris can be seen strewn across the pedestrianised street as firefighters and paramedics put up fencing around the crashed bus. Gardaí have sealed off the area, with the cordon extending up Talbot Street. Gardaí have cordoned off the area, with closures in place along Talbot Street and surrounding roads.
Two people were killed and two others remain in a serious condition in hospital after the three-vehicle crash on the R132 at Gormanston at around 6.30am on Monday morning. The driver of the lorry Wesley O'Reilly, from Dublin, and the Bus Éireann driver Paul Conway, from Co Louth, were killed in the crash. The driver of the car, a woman aged in her 40s, and a teenager who was a passenger in the car, both remain in a serious condition in hospital.
