Teenager injured after crash between car and e-bike in Waterford dies in hospital
"The incident occurred on the Cork Road in Waterford City at approximately 7.45pm on Sunday, November 16. "The cyclist, a male aged 18 years, who was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of serious injuries has since died," a Garda spokesperson said on Friday evening. The local Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course."
"Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Any road users with camera footage, including motorists with dash-cam footage from the area at the time, are asked to provide it to investigating gardaí.
