"The male driver of the lorry (aged his 40's) and the male driver of the bus (aged in his 50's) were pronounced deceased at the scene. The female driver of the car (aged in her 40's) was conveyed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The female passenger of the car (aged in her teens) was initially conveyed to our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and transferred to Temple Street Children's Hospital for treatment of serious injuries."
"A spokesperson for Bus Éireann said: "Bus Éireann can confirm one of our route 101 services has been involved in a critical road traffic collision involving other vehicles in the Gormanstown Cross area of county Meath this morning. "Emergency services and Bus Éireann personnel are currently at the scene. "We will provide further information as it becomes available." The 101 route serves Dublin to Drogheda via Balbriggan."
A multi-vehicle collision involving a lorry, a bus and a car occurred on the R132 in Gormanston at approximately 6.30am. The male lorry driver (in his 40s) and the male bus driver (in his 50s) were pronounced deceased at the scene. The female car driver (in her 40s) was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries, and a female teenage passenger was transferred from our Lady of Lourdes to Temple Street Children's Hospital with serious injuries. Several others were taken to hospital with injuries believed non-life-threatening. The R132 remains closed for Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Gardaí request witnesses and dash-cam footage from 5.45am–6.45am on 24 November 2025.
