A sixth passenger in the Golf, also in his 20s, is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A male and a female occupant of a Toyota Land Cruiser were treated in hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Family Liaison Officers have been appointed and An Garda Síochána is conducting a technical and forensic examination of the scene. The Taoiseach described being "numbed and shocked" by the tragedy.
