Piccadilly line From 12.45am on Saturday September 27 and all day on Sunday September 28, Piccadilly stations from King's Cross St Pancras to Heathrow, Osterley and Uxbridge will be closed, with no night tube service over the weekend. Replacement buses will be in operation. Bakerloo line On SaturdaySeptember 27 there is no service between Stonebridge Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. Alternatives: take the Met line to Harrow-on-the-Hill and hop on the 340 bus, or catch a West Midlands Train from Euston direct to Harrow & Wealdstone.
The renewal also marks the beginning of increased investment into the scheme, which will see improvements to the fleet, on-street infrastructure, and an improved Santander Cycles app. New cycle docking stations will be installed in Agar Grove, Camden; Brockwell Lido, Brixton; City Island, Canning Town; and in Hackney. Future plans include creating new docking stations on Harrow Road in Westminster and Queen Street in the City of London.

There is no doubt they are very popular but is a city any place for a sport utility vehicle (SUV)? The vehicles tend to be heavier, larger and more polluting than other cars, and researchers say they are more dangerous to pedestrians and cyclists. According to the campaign group Clean Cities, the number of SUVs has increased tenfold in London in 20 years from about 80,000 SUVs in 2002 to 800,000 SUVs in 2023.
With everything going on across the city, Londoners will be glad to know that planned train disruption this weekend is fairly minimal (though there may be some unpredictable disruptions). While a number of stations around Notting Hill will be partly closed for the carnival (more on that below), there are no cancellations or reduced services scheduled along any of the London Underground lines - just a few on the Overground lines.
According to Mr Hostan's data, over the 15-day period, 41 of the 525 scheduled departures were no shows.
