13 London bus routes are getting reduced - full list of service changes
"TfL has been making adjustments to its bus network in response to the falling number of passengers, unveiling proposals to either axe or reduce a bunch of London's busiest bus routes."
"From Saturday March 28, the number 13 between North Finchley and Victoria will be reduced to one bus every 10 minutes, while the 32 between Kilburn and Edgware will temporarily be cut to one every 11 minutes."
"People who normally rely on the 493 between Richmond Bus Station and St George's Hospital in Tooting will notice that services have been reduced to just four an hour."
"TfL confirmed that proposed changes to the 38 bus route would halve the number of buses on Graham Road in Hackney from 12 to six an hour during the day."
TfL has responded to a significant drop in bus passengers since the 2020 lockdown by adjusting bus timetables across London. The average bus speed has decreased to 9.17mph, prompting changes to various routes. Starting March 28, several routes will see reduced frequencies, including the number 13 and 32. Other routes, such as the 60, 278, and 372, will also have timetable revisions. The 493, E6, E7, and E10 services will be reduced to four per hour, while the D3 will run every 17 minutes. Further reductions are planned for the 207 and 38 routes.
