The project aims to replace both platforms and widen narrow sections at each end. New waiting shelters will be installed, and lighting will be upgraded. The existing staircases will also be replaced. Preparatory work begins in November 2025, with the main phase starting in March 2026, necessitating alternative travel for passengers during the closure.
