Three of London's mainline terminus stations have announced more dates for the Railway 200 themed heritage tours that they were running last year. The tours will run once a month from January to March next year at London Bridge, Victoria, and Waterloo stations and will be led by Network Rail and historian-author Rachel Kolksy. Detectives are warning cable thieves bringing chaos to train and Eurostar services their activities will not be tolerated, as the bill reached 12.1 million and caused over 202,000 hours of delays. The swan was trapped on Monday on the tracks over Chelsea Bridge with an injured wing. Mildmay line services were part suspended from 1.10pm to 2.30pm between Clapham Junction, one of London's busiest commuter stations, and Shepherd's Bush while Network Rail's mobile operations manager was tasked with catching the rogue swan. Following a successful rescue operation, the swan was coaxed off the tracks into a swan-rescue bag.
Helen Hamlin emphasized that 'the vast majority of the rail network will be open as usual,' but advised passengers to check for specific service changes ahead of travel.
