Three of London's mainline terminus stations have announced more dates for the Railway 200 themed heritage tours that they were running last year. The tours will run once a month from January to March next year at London Bridge, Victoria, and Waterloo stations and will be led by Network Rail and historian-author Rachel Kolksy. Detectives are warning cable thieves bringing chaos to train and Eurostar services their activities will not be tolerated, as the bill reached 12.1 million and caused over 202,000 hours of delays. Rail passengers face early-morning disruption on the Overground's Lioness line between Watford Junction and London Euston due to an issue at Wembley Central. According to TfL, Network Rail workers are having to remove an obstruction from a bridge. Operators say trains may be cancelled or may terminate early at Willesden Junction while checks are carried out on the track. The disruption affects all services running through the Wembley Central area.

A decision on the 1 billion scheme was expected from the City of London Corporation by the end of this year though this has been pushed back into 2026 after further details were added to the application. The swan was trapped on Monday on the tracks over Chelsea Bridge with an injured wing. Mildmay line services were part suspended from 1.10pm to 2.30pm between Clapham Junction, one of London's busiest commuter stations, and Shepherd's Bush while Network Rail's mobile operations manager was tasked with catching the rogue swan. Following a successful rescue operation, the swan was coaxed off the tracks into a swan-rescue bag.

Network Rail is warning that the Brighton mainline railway via Gatwick Airport will be closed on Sunday 13th July for urgent repair works.

Network Rail stated that the high temperatures would make track temperatures reach about 50C (122F), leading to speed restrictions and revised timetables for train services.

Due to damage to the overhead electric wires between Lockerbie and Carstairs, all lines are blocked. Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Please check your journey.
