London Bridge station has recently opened a second set of public toilets, nearly doubling the available facilities to accommodate the high passenger volume. Network Rail transformed two former retail spaces into new toilets, providing 23 female units, 12 male units, and three unisex options, including accessible facilities. This expansion was driven by passenger feedback highlighting inadequate existing toilets. Network Rail's Cem Davis emphasized that these improvements are part of an ongoing effort to modernize the station and ensure a better travel experience for everyone.
The new toilets include a mix of male and female facilities as well as larger, accessible options, addressing the diverse needs of passengers at the busy station.
Cem Davis stated that opening the new toilets is part of a wider investment to modernise stations and enhance the travel experience for passengers.
