"When Berrylands station reopens later this year, passengers will benefit from a brighter, more welcoming station with modern platforms, improved lighting, CCTV and better customer information."
"We know closing the station for several months will be inconvenient, but this £6 million investment will provide our passengers with a much better experience when travelling with us."
Berrylands station in southwest London will close for approximately four months starting May 11, 2026, for £6 million in upgrade works. The station, which opened in 1933, has wooden platforms that are in poor condition and need replacement. New glass-reinforced plastic platforms will be installed, along with enhanced features like information screens and customer help points. A rail replacement bus service will operate every 30 minutes during the closure, and the station is expected to reopen in late September 2026.
