The San Francisco Fire Department performed a rescue and put out a car fire on Junipero Serra Boulevard Sunday morning, and one person in the crash required hospitalization. The crash and subsequent fire happened just after 10 am on Sunday, January 4, and the SFFD says they soon responded to the scene at Junipero Serra Boulevard and Brotherhood Way, in the vicinity of the Outer Mission near the Daly City border.

At least one person has died in Redding because of flooding in the city as the water just overtook the streets. Some people ended up abandoning their cars.
