A serious accident occurred when a Massachusetts driver crashed into the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike, resulting in the vehicle catching fire. New Hampshire State Troopers responded to the scene after receiving 911 calls. A trooper assigned to Gov. Kelly Ayotte's security detail rescued the trapped driver by pulling them from a window. Witnesses, including Ayotte, assisted in the rescue. The driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, and the tolls were temporarily closed for investigation.
