The hikers were traveling near Elephant Rock when a high tide blocked their exit route, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office reported. The crew flew to the hikers and dropped down a 100-foot line to them.
A flight officer then secured them into a hot seat device before they were extracted and flown to nearby county firefighters, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
