Jason Hiner/ZDNET If you're interested in buying a pair of the Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses, good luck. They are only available in the US, are back-ordered for weeks or months in several places, and Meta is reportedly only planning to produce 150,000 to 200,000 units over the next two years. That's fewer sales than the Apple Vision Pro.
Sony is now selling a revised model of the digital PS5 slim in the US that has less storage than the original version. The updated model with 825GB of internal SSD storage instead of 1TB recently went on sale in Europe, but now it's available to buy on the US PlayStation Direct website as well. The revised digital edition console, which Sony says is in the "CFI-2100 model group - slim," still starts at $499.99, even with the reduced storage space.
Google's latest flagship, the Pixel 10 Pro, brings its Pixelized blend of AI smarts and photographic intelligence to the premium Android space. I'm always excited for the newest Pixel, but now more than ever, it faces some tough competition at $999. Also: I replaced my Samsung S25 Ultra with the Pixel 10 Pro XL for weeks - and don't regret it If you're on the fence about whether to pick up Google's newest Pixel, you should consider that several other phones
Sony launched an updated PlayStation 5 digital console in Europe, but instead of offering 1TB of storage for €499, it now comes with just an 825GB Solid-State Drive (SSD) at the same price, as reported earlier by Eurogamer. YouTuber Austin Evans discovered the change in a teardown video posted earlier this week, confirming an earlier report from gaming bargain hunter billbil-kun.
Pricier components seem to be a driving force behind the bigger price tags. The new speakers, for instance, feature AZ3 and AZ23 Pro processors that include a new "AI Accelerator designed to run AI edge models," according to Amazon's announcement. The processors are supposed to enable "better conversation detection" alongside improved mics for blocking out background noise "and improving Alexa's ability to detect the wake-word by over 50 percent."
I use Snapchat every day -- since at least 2016, when Snap introduced Snapchat Memories. Memories is basically a built-in cloud locker for snaps. You can set it to automatically save everything you capture, or pick and choose what gets archived. When Memories first launched, I was living in California and constantly snapping with friends and family in New York. My group chats were filled with quick photos and videos from my daily life, and I saved all of them to Memories. Fast-forward nearly a decade, and I'm still using those same group chats, which means I've probably got thousands of photos and videos stored away in the app.
The 6.3" 1-120Hz LTPO display on the front is similar enough to the previous model - it is brighter at 3,500 nits peak and has slimmer 1.18mm bezels, but the major upgrade this generation is the improved power efficiency. And then there is 2.7" display on the back (904 x 572px) with the same 3,500 nits peak brightness (it even has DC dimming and up to 120Hz refresh rate).
That's right, nowadays the Soft Taco Supreme falls squarely on the list of overpriced fast food items to avoid. Prices, in general, have gone up at Taco Bell quite a bit in the past few decades, but the current price for the Soft Taco Supreme stands out as a bit ridiculous. A standard soft taco from the chain features a flour tortilla stuffed with seasoned ground beef, lettuce, and shredded cheese, and goes for around $1.89 these days.
Crunchyroll will bring a bunch of the biggest manga series to the anime streaming service on October 9 with the launch of Crunchyroll Manga. While there are other manga reader services out there, the fact that lots of people already have a Crunchyroll sub and that Crunchyroll Manga brings many different publishers under a single roof has the potential to make it one of the most convenient options out there for keeping up with One Piece and other big series.
Wave positions itself as the go-to solution for freelancers and bootstrapped businesses. Its core accounting features come at no cost, making it incredibly attractive for startups watching every penny. However, you'll pay transaction fees when processing payments through its system. And if you want advanced features and lower transaction fees, prepare to upgrade to Wave Pro for $19 per month.
Where the Nothing Headphone (1) was all sharp angles and see-through panels, the CMF version is chunky, colorful, and aggressively normal. Where the flagship cost almost three hundred bucks, this one will probably land somewhere around the hundred-dollar mark. Most telling of all, where the original headphones seemed designed to make you explain your choice to everyone who saw them, these new ones look like they're trying to blend into every coffee shop and college campus in America.
Buffalo Trace's wheated bourbon line has garnered a cult following for itself, partly due to its connection to the coveted Pappy Van Winkle recipe. However, close to 300 people agreed with the opinion that Weller - especially the entry-level Special Reserve that you can get for around $50 a bottle - is too pricey for what it offers (even when a user managed to snag it for $45, they still considered it overpriced).
ETNews reports (translated from Korean) that Samsung's rumoured XR headset, codenamed Project Moohan, will be launched by the South Korean tech giant on October 21. The company will host an online launch event for the same, where the specifications, features, and sale dates of Samsung's first AI-powered XR headsets will be announced. However, earlier reports had suggested a different launch date for Samsung's Project Moohan XR headset.
There's more to business success than just knowing how to create or how to network. For the most part, successful businesses emerge as an outcome of a thoroughly planned and well-executed strategy (crucial to getting more clients). But when creatives set up a business, it's usually because they want to create, not because they want to be business people. Neglecting to get to grips with things like finances, taxes and client management can hugely affect your bottom line, and potentially your creativity.
The MacBook Air M4, for example, starts at $999 for the 13-inch configuration with 16GB of memory -- $100 less than last year's M3. At the same time, the hardware expands on both the low and high end, with the lowest-tier configuration of the M4 equipped with a 10-core CPU and 8-core GPU, in contrast to the 8-core M3 chip from last year.
The Chinese brand said it's introducing the 4GB RAM model "in response to the strong consumer demand for an even more affordable performance-driven smartphone." Poco has neither revealed the 4GB RAM model's price nor the amount of storage it will have; however, it confirmed that the 4GB RAM version will go on sale in India exclusively through Flipkart starting September 23, with early access for Flipkart Black and Plus users beginning a day before.
The newest and arguably most innovative iPhone features the company's slimmest design yet, measuring at around 5.6mm thin. How did the folks at Cupertino achieve such a record? By opting for a smaller battery, fewer cameras, and some design elements that disrupt the norm, especially by iPhone standards. In other words, this is a totally different beast.
Buying the cheapest "Pro" version of Apple's new iPhone lineup just got $100 more expensive. The brand new iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099. That's a $100 increase from the starter iPhone 16 Pro model, which launched at $999 with 128 GB of storage. Unlike its predecessor, though, the entry-level iPhone 17 Pro has 256 GB - more storage than last year's cheapest iPhone 16 Pro.
