A suspected car thief being chased by police in Los Angeles on Monday night was killed after news cameras broadcasting the chase live on TV showed him jump out of the van on the freeway and get hit by multiple vehicles. Police started the pursuit shortly after 8:30 p.m., when the driver of a suspected stolen van refused to pull over for Officer Drake Madison, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

(KGO) -- Several juveniles were arrested Sunday after Concord police say they broke into the Sunvalley Mall just before 4 a.m. Police released a photo of a smashed door, saying a large group forced entry through the glass doors. Officers arrived just as the suspects were exiting. Investigators say they arrested three people at the mall, but four others tried to escape in a car.

Sadly, two care home residents a woman in her 90s and a woman in her 80s passed away yesterday. The next of kin for both women have been notified and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were in pursuit of a vehicle shortly after 2.30am this morning along Hampstead Road. During the chase, the vehicle was involved in a crash with a bus and lorry.
