Police are looking for two men in connection with a shooting on Boston Road in the Morrisania section of the Bronx on Monday evening. Authorities said the incident occurred in front of 1272 Boston Road at about 5:05 p.m., when one individual handed a firearm to another, who then fired multiple shots, striking an unoccupied vehicle. The two men fled north on Boston Road. No injuries were reported.

Tragedy occurred today in East New York, Brooklyn, when two 24-year-old men were shot inside a home on Euclid Avenue shortly after midnight. One man, identified by police as Jarell Sutton, was shot in the chest and later pronounced dead at the hospital. The second man sustained a foot injury. Agustin Calderon, 43, pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter and a gun enhancement in the Dec. 16, 2023 fatal shooting of 29-year-old Eric Azevedo, in Antioch. Calderon was formally sentenced in October and is housed at Pleasant Valley State Prison, records show. Prosecutors dropped a murder count as part of the plea deal, records show.
