One person is in critical condition after a shooting involving an Aventura police officer. Florida authorities are investigating the incident. Updates to follow.

Authorities identified Ryan Louis Mosqueda, 27, as the shooter who fired at federal agents at a border patrol facility in Texas, injuring a police officer.

"An LAPD official stated an officer was shot Saturday afternoon near Exposition Park, with the officer in stable condition after being transported to a hospital."
