PHILADELPHIA (KABC) -- An Amazon driver was arrested last week for a road rage murder in Philadelphia, the U.S. Marshals Service announced. Troy Johnson, 30, is accused of intentionally hitting 29-year-old Rigoberto Hernandez with his delivery truck following a verbal altercation. Hernandez died at the hospital. Investigators with the Marshals Fugitive Task Force from Philadelphia along with local homicide detectives arrested Johnson at a home belonging to his family members without incident. He was then sent to Lehigh County for processing.
Met Police A motorist who admitted hitting and killing a man with his car on Christmas Day in London's West End has been found guilty of murder. Anthony Gilheaney, 31, had denied the charge but admitted the manslaughter of 25-year-old Aidan Chapman during a series of unprovoked attacks in which he used a high-powered Mercedes to mow people down. The prosecution did not accept the manslaughter plea and Gilheaney stood trial for murder at the Old Bailey.
He sought release during a parole hearing in October, having been jailed in 2012. Stephen, 18, was stabbed to death in a racist attack in south London in 1993. Only two of his killers have been convicted, with police always saying six people were involved. At the parole hearing, Norris admitted he was part of the attack but refused to name the other killers.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office charged Cabrera with one count of murder after the remains of 33-year-old Sheylla Cabrera, also known as Sheylla Lisbet Gutiérrez Rosillo, were discovered in Angeles National Forest on Aug. 16. She had been reported missing four days earlier. On Aug. 13, authorities uncovered surveillance footage showing Cabrera dragging a bulky covered object from the Lancaster Boulevard apartment building where he lived with his wife and their children. Officials suspected foul play and began an investigation.
A hearing date has been fixed for Jozef Puska's appeal against his conviction for the murder of schoolteacher Ashling Murphy. Puska killed Ms Murphy (23) on January 12, 2022, by repeatedly stabbing her in the neck after attacking her while she exercised along the canal towpath outside Tullamore, Co Offaly. He was later convicted of murder and is serving a life sentence.

An apprentice electrician who was cleared of murder has received a wholly suspended sentence for assaulting a man while two others beat that man's friend to death on a Dublin street.
As I watched the episode unfold, my giddy delight in Dianne Wiest's performance slid into sadness at what a dreadful corner Mother Constance felt herself backed into, disgust at Monsignor Frank ( David Rasche) for placing his ambition above the needs of the convent, and further disgust at Mother Constance's choice to exploit the solution to her long-ago crisis of faith in service of committing the worst of sins.

Dante Forrest was brought to justice after Met officers used DNA evidence from Marvin's blood at the scene and trawled through hundreds of hours of CCTV to prove he was at the crime scene. They found Marvin's blood on a pizza box at the crime scene and uncovered crucial footage which showed him wearing Marvin's trainers in the days after his death. Mr Dickson's death was the result of substantial blunt force trauma to the left side of his head, according to a pathological examination.
A woman told her sister three weeks before she was killed that she would have to let her murder accused son "go", but the deceased "didn't want to hear it", a jury has heard.
