Safi Dawood, a 23-year-old Afghan migrant, pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm against his landlord, Shahzad Farrukh, and actual bodily harm to a 14-year-old boy. The incidents occurred on 27 October in Uxbridge, London. Dawood also admitted to possessing an offensive weapon. He did not plead to the murder charge of Wayne Broadhurst, who was fatally stabbed while walking his dog. Dawood entered the UK in 2020 and was granted asylum in 2022. A trial is scheduled for 13 July.
