A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering a stab wound in Limerick this morning. The man sustained at least one stab wound to the side of his abdomen. He was found injured in the Carew Park area of the city around 11am this morning, and then rushed by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick. At approximately 4:56 p.m., San Francisco police officers arrived at the scene and found three men suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to a statement from the police department. Officers rendered aid until paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the subjects to the hospital. Initial reports indicated one suspect had been arrested, but in today's statement, the police department confirmed two additional arrests later on Saturday.

According to police sources, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 4 outside the Mr. Purple Bar and Lounge, located at 180 Orchard St. Cops say a 25-year-old man was approached by an unidentified suspect and slashed across the face. The perpetrator fled on foot in an unknown direction after the attack, cops said.
