Kevin Gavin, a 71-year-old handyman, pleaded guilty to the murders of three elderly women in his Brooklyn apartment building. He gained their trust to help with repairs before brutally killing them. Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez stated that Gavin exploited vulnerable neighbors who believed he was there to assist them. Gavin's guilty plea includes one count of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder, resulting in a promised sentence of 30 years to life in prison.
