Nabil Askafe, a 16-year-old boy, was shot at Jackson Square mall in Hamilton and later died in the hospital. Askafe was able to walk to a store after being shot, where he collapsed. Police are also searching for a second suspect who fled the scene. The incident is believed to be targeted, and Askafe had recently immigrated from Syria with his family.
