Roland just unveiled the Go:Mixer Studio, a powerful entry in the company's line of audio interfaces. This one promises to be a portable and affordable way to create high-quality recordings with a smartphone or PC. The biggest news here are the 12 input channels and six output channels. This means that users can record multiple instruments at once and even run the signal through outboard gear if so desired.
In today's hectic and fast-paced world, technology has made it possible to be in multiple places at once and greatly increased our productivity. However, missing out on a limited-time showing or live broadcast can still cause anger and frustration. There's a simple and obvious solution in the form of DVRs or Digital Video Recorders, so you can enjoy all the thrill of watching your favorite sports team without the annoying commercials.
In a non-Netflix world, a film like The Rip flashy, action-heavy, led by two household names should be available this weekend on the biggest high-format screens across the country. But then in that same world, at this particular time, it's doubtful that a film like this would even get made, granted a budget that's reportedly close to $100m, highly unusual for R-rated non-IP.
Wonder Project quietly enlisted a group of eight social media creators last year to help promote shows such as Amazon Prime Video's " House of David " and the upcoming family drama "It's Not Like That." The creators were given broad access to Wonder Project series, including early screeners, set visits, clips and other assets that are ready-made for creators to craft social media posts that help spread the word about the shows.

One Piece's Monkey D. Luffy joined the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade floats, the latest Demon Slayer film earned $780 million at the worldwide box office in 2025, and the animated musical KPop Demon Hunters (though not technically anime) became the most-watched original Netflix movie of all time. As someone who had no one to talk to growing up during the days of Naruto and Dragon Ball Z, it's tough to even process that the genre has reached mainstream status around the globe.
The promotion is live until January 21. Have a hankering for some audiobooks? Audible is holding one heck of a sale right now, giving users three months of access for $3. That's a dollar per month. This is something of a winter tradition for the Amazon-owned platform and the promotion ends on January 21. An Audible subscription grants one audiobook per month to keep. This can be selected from a massive catalog of new releases and bestsellers. The collection here has just about everything.
After testing the interest of sports fans in short-form content, Disney aims to bring brief bursts to a broader audience. The company aims to bring so-called "microcontent" to Disney+ in 2026, it announced Wednesday at CES, and in doing so joins a parade of traditional media purveyors working harder to court younger consumers who have grown more accustomed to swiping through Tik Toks, Reels and other attenuated attempts to entertain.
I was continueing my exploration of React server components when I stumbled upon on this article about progressive JSON. Dan Abramov describes a technique for streaming JSON from a server to a client in chunks, allowing the client to start rendering parts of the data before the entire payload has been received. This can significantly improve perceived performance, especially for large datasets.
Like many on Twitch, TheBurntPeanut streams for long stretches - often over seven hours at a time - while playing the popular game "Arc Raiders." It's not unusual for 75,000-plus concurrent fans to tune in to watch him dancing, chatting, and cursing out his competitors while gaming. The man behind TheBurntPeanut has not yet disclosed his name or appearance. That's a long-standing tradition for some gamers, who often show their screens instead of their own faces, and especially for VTubers.
Despite now being fully owned and controlled by Amazon MGM Studios, James Bond movies have been irregularly available on Prime Video or other streaming services in recent months. Starting January 15th, though, 26 of the iconic British spy's cinematic adventures will begin streaming on Netflix, from the Sean Connery-starring Dr. No to the final Daniel Craig film, No Time to Die.
Catching up on shows in the age of streaming is a Sisyphean task. No matter how many weekends you spend bingeing the latest thing, there will always be something else everyone's talking about that you'll need to catch up on. But now that we're coming up on the end of 2025, it's time to look back and see what slipped through the cracks and is worth watching over the holidays
When the cameras start rolling at the Critical Role studio in Los Angeles, Ed Lopez and Ben Van Der Fluit are never in front of them. There are eight far more famous faces that front the operation. Critical Role's cofounders, a team of self-professed nerdy voice actors, have been streaming their show, going on tour, and starting their book business and game publishing arm.
If your household is anything like mine, you might frequently run into the same issue: There's too much to watch out there, and keeping track of all the things you want to stream one day has become a nightmare. It's not that there aren't any tools for this. There are! And plenty of them! And they're all easy to use! Which is kind of the problem.
"KICK's a live streaming platform where creators kick it with their communities. (Yeah, we said the thing...). Our creators march to the beat of their own drum, as do we, disrupting our opps with a 95-5 subscription split, our creator incentive program, and the freedom to multistream. That's why the likes of xQc, Asmongold, and MaxHolloway all pick KICK."
Peacock has found a new place to stuff ads. Starting next year, the streaming service will greet you with an ad alongside your profile icon on the "Who's watching?" screen when you open the app. During a press briefing, Peacock parent company NBCUniversal showed off how these "arrival ads" might look. One image shows your profiles stacked vertically on the left side of the screen, while an ad for Capital One takes up almost the entire screen.
Now it will be easier for Android users to watch Apple TV content on their TV with the addition of Google Cast support. However, even after this update, Google Cast is only an option on the Android version of Apple TV, not the iOS version. Likewise, the Android version still doesn't support AirPlay. The addition of Google Cast adds a core feature that's been missing from the Android version of Apple's streaming app since it launched earlier this year.
