Officers responded to the area at about 8:55 p.m. for a report of a vehicle hitting two pedestrians. Investigators said an unidentified adult and child were crossing the street when they were struck.

A 6-year-old boy is clinging to life after he was struck by a Hatzolah ambulance in Brooklyn Saturday morning, according to police sources. The ambulance driver was heading west on 52nd St. around 10:34 a.m., striking the child near 52nd St. and 15th Ave. in Borough Park, cops said. EMS transported the child to Maimonides Medical Center where he was in critical condition. No arrests were made.

Mountain View police have arrested a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of hitting a pedestrian with her car after she had been drinking. When police and Mountain View fire-paramedics arrived, they provided medical aid to the victim, a 64-year-old Mountain View resident, who was then taken to a hospital.

Anofils was driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed when he struck 82-year-old Austin Noel, who was crossing the street at approximately 3:40 a.m.
