The inauguration of President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance took place under winter weather in the Capitol Rotunda, as a historic transition from the Biden-Harris administration.
Chief Superintendent Jane Humphries described the drivers who drive at excessive speed as a "menace on our roads." She emphasized, "The disregard for speed limits... is irresponsible and dangerous."
"Our forecasts are showing tight margins on the electricity system for Wednesday evening between 4-7pm. This is a routine tool that we use most winters, and means we are asking market participants to make any additional generation capacity they may have available."
