The design elements I would use for my maximalist work takes inspiration from tarpaulin advertisements and posters you would see across Metro Manila. The visual character of these advertisements are really kitsch.

Architectural elements and imposed barriers function as abstract limits, pressing against the figure and revealing tension through scale, weight, and posture rather than narrative.

I have always had a keen interest in South Asia and in India in particular for both its cultural richness and its institutional life. I am excited to be part of a project that will change the museum landscape of the subcontinent.
