A grey Toyota mounted the kerb on Langs Road and struck two pedestrians just before 5pm, police said in a statement.

Police said Grant for unknown reasons was walking in the southbound lane of traffic when a car driving southbound struck him. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
