A 35-year-old woman was hit by an MBTA bus on Monday at approximately 3:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Washington Street in Norwood. The collision occurred when the woman crossed the street outside of a marked crosswalk. She sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The woman remained conscious and alert when removed from the scene and is currently listed in stable condition. Transit police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
