SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Caltrans says the 19th Avenue project in San Francisco will be done in several phases. The initial phase will focus on parking lane repavement. The second will have crews repave the driving lanes, with the northbound ones done first and then the southbound lanes. People who work and live nearby say they know this project needs to be done, but that doesn't mean they don't also have concerns.
On a recent Wednesday, about a dozen customers lined up inside Bun Appétit Donuts just after 8 a.m. to scan the nearly 30 savory and sweet doughnuts, croissants and stuffed malasada-style pastries displayed behind glass. In an update to the Saratoga Village Development Council, Jill Hunter said Hendren volunteered to repaint the sign in Blaney Plaza, which was donated to the city a decade ago. Hunter also thanked Robert Woolsey for washing the sign before Hendren repainted it.
