That was a skill-based RPG system that I was looking for that could simulate real-world things, because most things were fantasy or science fiction, but there was "lockpick" or "climb walls" or "Uzi," you know, "machine guns," that sort of thing. So, I gravitated towards that system and we licensed it, and that was the genesis of Wasteland. Wasteland, to me, is what set the imprint in terms of innovation, such as grey morality and non-linear gameplay.
