Fallout Season 2 arrives on Prime Video later this month, and a live-action Wolfenstein series is also in development for the platform. Fans hope for an Elder Scrolls adaptation, but no immediate plans exist and such a project is not expected soon. Todd Howard cannot rule in or rule out a future Elder Scrolls series and considers Fallout more suitable for adaptation because it has more to say in its genre. The Fallout show's franchise impact exceeded expectations, adaptation development can take over a decade, and The Elder Scrolls VI remains a long way off.
