Founded in 2013 to archive the "aesthetic awesomeness" of GeoCities websites, Neocities keeps the spirit of the 1990s Internet alive. It lets users design free websites without relying on standardized templates devoid of personality. For hundreds of thousands of people building websites around art, niche fandoms, and special expertise-or simply seeking a place to get a little weird online-Neocities provides a blank canvas that can be endlessly personalized when compared to a Facebook page.
Bing Search has rolled out what it calls multi-turn search in Bing globally. This is something we saw Microsoft Bing test back in June, when we saw a floating Copilot follow up search box at the footer of the Bing search results page show up as you scroll. It is now globally live for all to use. Jordi Ribas, CVP, Head of Search at Microsoft, posted this news on X - he said, "After shipping in the US last year, multi-turn search in Bing is now available worldwide." Interesting name for it, "multi-turn search."
Microsoft Bing is testing loading more people also ask options as you click on them. This is something Google has done for a long time now. But now when you click on an option under the people also ask section within Bing, Bing may load more beneath them - to show you more options. Plus, they load these cards for the site it is referencing. I spotted this via both Sachin Patel and Khushal Bherwani on X - and I was able to replicate it.
Microsoft is testing a new search bar/box header for the Bing Search results. The Bing search bar sticks to the top as you scroll through the search results. Google just rolled that out a month or so ago and now Bing is testing it. I spotted this via Sachin Patel, who noted the line divider between the search bar and the results, which may be new. He posted about it on X - but it seems the sticky search bar is a test too.
There are several posts in the Search Central Forum about this, and I just saw the issue pop up for a client. Google's Crawl Stats reporting drops heavily around 8/8. There is no impact to rankings and traffic, but all the sites posting about this see it happen on 8/8. My client is not blocking crawling of Googlebot, and Bing seems totally fine crawling-wise.
