Backup Malik Willis, who took over in the second quarter after Love sustained a concussion, injured his right shoulder late in the game. He appeared to get hurt on the final play of regulation when Chicago's Montez Sweat sacked him. Willis grabbed his throwing shoulder after the play but was able to finish the game. "I'd say he's pretty sore," LaFleur said Sunday.
Jarvis was tripped full speed into one of Florida's goal posts 20 seconds into overtime. As Jarvis moved the puck onto his forehand during a rush down the ice, he put a shot on Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. But as he did, he lost his balance as Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues tried to fruitlessly sweep the puck away with his stick, sending the Canes winger careening hard into the goal frame.
Florida evened up the season series with the Tampa Bay Lightning by besting their arch-rivals by a 5-2 count on Monday to conclude its four-game roadie with an impressive 3-1 record. Sam Reinhart scored shorthanded and on the power play, Brad Marchand notched the game-winner, Carter Verhaeghe contributed a goal and an assist and Anton Lundell also lit the lamp for the surging Cats, who are 5-1-1 in their last seven games.

Diggs said he expected to play against the Minnesota Vikings after a two-month absence from a concussion and a stint on injured reserve with a right knee injury. On Saturday, he was told he would be inactive again. Yet, after the game, owner and general manager Jerry Jones said, "Diggs isn't healthy enough to be out there for us. Period."
