Jess Fishlock suffered an ankle injury during a match against Utah Royals and was carried off on a stretcher. Initial X-rays were negative, and further evaluation is ongoing. Reign head coach Laura Harvey noted that Fishlock's injury negatively impacted the team's performance. Fishlock, who is set to retire at the end of the current campaign, has also stepped down from international football with Wales and is involved in a technical role with the national team.
