But then you see what's behind Hegseth: a large screen displaying an X feed. The photo is blurry, but it seems to show Hegseth and company using X's search function to monitor tweets about the raid.

Elon Musk's chatbot has spent the last week flooding X with nonconsensual, sexualized deepfakes of adults and minors. Circulating screenshots show Grok complying with requests to put real women in lingerie and make them spread their legs, and to put small children in bikinis. At one point, Grok was generating about one nonconsensual sexualized image per minute, according to one estimate.

Internet infrastructure provider Cloudflare says it is investigating an issue that caused outages for social media platform X, some multiplayer games and ChatGPT. Cloudflare said on its status page earlier Tuesday that it was aware of and investigating an issue that was impacting multiple customers. There were reports of widespread 500 errors as well as Cloudflare Dashboard and API failing. Cloudflare then provided an update that a recovery was underway, but reverted to messaging that indicate they are still investigating the cause of the issue.

But the automaker appears to be on track to spend just a fraction of that in 2025 as sales have struggled. In the first two months of 2025, Tesla spent $10,000 on X ads, putting it on track to spend only $60,000 annually. During the same time period last year, it had already spent $200,000 on X, Tesla disclosed. Tesla's spending slowed considerably after those first two months, paying another $200,000 across the remainder of 2024.

Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan has been arrested at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of inciting violence in relation to his posts on X. He was arrested after arriving on a flight from the US, and said in an online Substack article that officials then became concerned for his health after taking his blood pressure, and took him to hospital. The Metropolitan Police said that a man in his 50s was arrested on 1 September at Heathrow Airport and taken to hospital,
