Patrolman Brendan Fayles responded to a report of a car crashing into a house on South Street on July 25 around 12:45 a.m. The crashed car had begun to ignite as Fayles arrived at the scene, so he smashed a side window and extricated the unresponsive driver from the vehicle through the window, police say. "Sir, wake up ... Can you hear me?" Patrolman Fayles can be heard saying in the video of the rescue. Shortly after, the entire vehicle was engulfed in flames, which Foxborough Fire later extinguished, police say.
A Secret Service SUV caught fire on Monday morning just a couple of blocks away from the White House. Black smoke was seen emanating from the vehicle as it sat at the intersection of 18th St. NW and Pennsylvania Ave, less than half a mile away from the White House, just ahead of President Donald Trump's meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
