The new campus will be the sixth location for the early childhood education private school in New York City, and a 20-year lease was signed for the 10,172 square feet on the ground floor of Tower 77.
Mark Hepburn, 52, argued the land he built on qualified for permitted development rights after 10 years of continuous residential usage, meaning planning permission was not required.
"With this outcome, we have to wonder if the board felt pressured to change their votes after the last hearing," said Jeremy Martin, part of the coalition of Medford Hillside residents.
