The 'Husene i Skogen' project features six timber residential buildings, organized in two rows on a sloping site. Each building is designed in a horseshoe shape, providing four apartments per floor and maximizing sunlight and views through strategically placed balconies. The timber construction includes prefabricated climatic walls to ensure durability while maintaining an organic aesthetic with curved balconies. The design seeks to foster community interaction through shared outdoor facilities such as a communal house and greenhouse, echoing the nearby woodland character and enhancing residents' connection to nature.
The new housing development consists of six timber buildings arranged in two rows on a steeply sloping terrain, enhancing the site’s natural qualities.
Each building features a horseshoe shape with a compact corridor, allowing four apartments per floor that seamlessly connect with their surrounding environment.
