Donkey Kong fans can grab the Donkey Kong Bananza Amiibo for $20 (was $30) at Amazon right now. This is a Lightning Deal with limited quantities. At the time of writing, over 20% of the available Donkey Kong and Pauline Amiibo figures have been claimed. Amazon also has deals on two Amiibo figures that launched alongside the Nintendo Switch 2: Yunobo from The Legend of Zelda and Jamie from Street Fighter 6 are available for $8 each.

Prime members get to enjoy free delivery, so they're saving a few extra dollars on that front too. This is also the lowest we have seen this memory card drop to since its release, but as you'd expect, the deal is selling out fast.

Orbitals is a two-player co-op adventure, where players step into the roles of Maki and Omura to save their home from a supernatural cosmic storm. Aside from showing off the game's gorgeous '80s anime-inspired visuals, Orbitals' debut trailer also highlights how Maki and Omura will traverse space and work together to solve puzzles. In one example of how the game's co-op will work, the trailer shows one character piloting a spaceship while another operates the ship's turret.

The Nintendo Switch 2 comes with a pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers, but it's always good to have a second set around in case more people come over for a few rounds of Mario Kart World. BJ's Wholesale Club is offering a set of Joy-Con 2 controllers for $79.99 ($20 off), a new all-time low. The store requires a paid membership to shop there, but anyone can take advantage of the deal by clicking "Get a 1-day online pass" during checkout.

If the success of Switch 2 is any indication, 2025 was defined by the launch of Nintendo's latest console. Yet Nintendo is surprisingly absent from the top trending games of 2025, with only a single title making the cut: Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Google has shared its annual report about the top trending search topics, including which subjects changed in the year since the previous disclosure.

YouTube has published its list of the top trending topics of 2025, and once again, gaming and pop culture were popular choices for what people watched on the video-streaming website. Out of the trending topics--which aren't ranked in any particular order--US YouTube viewers devoured any content related to the Switch 2 console, Roblox, and the RPG-strategy game Cookie Run Kingdom. Other topics of interest in the US included KPop Demon Hunters, Labubu collectible dolls, and the hit anime series Blue Lock.

Nintendo has provided game file sizes for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on Switch and Switch 2, letting console owners know how much space they need to download the first-person adventure game. On Switch 2, Metroid Prime 4 comes in at an estimated 31.6GB, while the original Switch version only takes up 26.3GB, per the Nintendo Store. Intriguingly, though, the eShop accessed via Switch 2 showcases the Switch edition as taking up 28.9GB.

It features Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai's round, pink, utterly charming child participating in short races where the main feature isn't so much about how fast you go, but how well you can manage the winding courses while fighting the cutest rogues' gallery ever committed to polygons.

When the Nintendo Switch 2 launched this summer, a cheaper, Japanese-only version of the console was made available domestically. Rockstar Games distributed a new budget-friendly $30 edition in September, and now you can grab a copy of Red Dead Redemption for $25 during Amazon's early Black Friday video game sale. Red Dead Redemption's physical edition for Switch includes the full game and Undead Nightmare expansion on the cartridge.

After launching on last-generation consoles and PC between 2017 and 2020, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is heading to this generation's consoles this year. A remake of the second game in the Yakuza series, Yakuza Kiwami 2 improves the original's resolution and framerate and adds gameplay changes to bring it more in like with later entries in the series. It also includes improved and new minigames, plus the Majima Saga, a new chapter with players taking on the role of fan-favorite character Goro Majima.

The company apologized to people who were not able to get a Switch 2 right away due to shortages in some regions. This isn't likely a reference to the US, as the Switch 2 has been readily available for purchase. But shortages are annoying and frustrating for anyone who had to endure them, and Nintendo promised it's making efforts to meet the demand going forward.

Notably, both controllers can be used with the Nintendo Switch 2 in handheld mode. The first special-edition Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller has been revealed, and it's a surprising one. Nintendo is releasing a limited-edition Pro Controller themed around Resident Evil Requiem, the next mainline entry in Capcom's survival horror series. The Resident Evil Requiem Edition Pro Controller is available to preorder for $100 at Best Buy and the Nintendo Store. It launches alongside the game on February 27, 2026.

There haven't been a lot of opportunities to catch Switch 2 games on sale since the console launched in early June, but that's changing thanks to Woot. The store is having a sale on new video games and game accessories that's live now, and runs through November 8th at 11:59PM CT. Dozens of games for all three current-generation systems are on sale, but the Switch 2 titles caught our eye because of how new they are.
