Respawn will end Apex Legends support for the original Nintendo Switch on August 4, 2026, with Season 29 as the final update. After that date, the game will not run on the original Switch but will continue on Nintendo Switch 2 and other supported platforms. All player progress, purchases, and earnings are tied to individual EA accounts and will transfer to Nintendo Switch 2, including Apex Coins and cosmetics. Apex Legends first launched on Nintendo Switch in 2021, two years after other platforms.
