The Simpsons have taken over Fortnite for the month of November, but players won't be sneaking around Springfield forever. Fortnite content creator NickEh30 posted a teaser for Chapter Seven that has a set of coordinates that lead to the Hollywood sign. The text in the teaser says, "Now Playing / Zero Hour / Chapter Seven / Fortnite After Dark With Q&U." In Kill Bill, Q&U was the abbreviation that Tarantino and Thurman used for their collaboration.
Since 2021, Thomas Donofri and the other members of Slurm Team have been passionately working on a conversion mod that transforms The Simpsons: Hit & Run into a Futurama game. Now, four years later, the first demo for Futurama: Hit & Run is available, and it has the approval of Joe McGinn, the lead designer of the original game. The launch trailer for the demo was released earlier this week, and it quickly caught McGinn's attention. He left a comment on YouTube, and wrote, "I can only say ... this looks awesome! I want to play it."
In addition to being a world-class games experience and interoperating with Fortnite, the new persistent universe will offer a multitude of opportunities for consumers to play, watch, shop and engage with content, characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar and more. Players, gamers and fans will be able to create their own stories and experiences, express their fandom in a distinctly Disney way, and share content with each other in ways that they love.
