We are supporting the next of kin of the people who have died in this very sad incident. Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what has happened, but we are not seeking anyone else in relation to this matter.

A man in his 60s has died following the incident involving a private rigid-hulled inflatable boat near Tipner on Thursday night.

A person died early Wednesday in a fiery crash on an East Bay highway that closed down a transition ramp. The crash happened about 3:10 a.m. on northbound Highway 13.

Tragically, three members of the department died in the explosion at the Biscailuz Training Facility, which occurred around 7.30am on Friday.
