The Boston Fire Department battled a two-alarm fire at a multi-family home in Dorchester, which displaced two residents Tuesday. The fire at 25 Train St. started around 8:30 a.m. in the rear of the second and third floors, the fire department posted on X. In a video posted by the department, heavy flames are seen moving out of the second-story windows and spreading to the second- and third-floor back porches. Debris and ash can also be seen falling from the home.

Between 11 p.m. Sunday and 3 a.m. Monday, police responded to four shootings and a stabbing in Dorchester, with three shooting victims found near Franklin Park.

Walgreens plans to permanently shut its Codman Square location on September 10, joining a trend of closures affecting predominantly Black and Hispanic neighborhoods.

Boston police are seeking public assistance in locating Alex Morreale and Zhawndya Steed Calhoun, who were reported missing in separate cases earlier this year.
