Pirelli introduces a new aero tire design to reduce drag and improve performance without compromising handling.
So when Cannondale says the new, fifth-generation EVO is faster again, the obvious question becomes: how do you improve a bike that many riders love without overworking it and pissing off a large group of cyclists? The answer is you don't - you make small changes, and refinements - you don't "reinvent" anything. Thats exactly what happened to the new Cannondale Super-Six EVO.
There are two types of electric car companies in the world: ones that slap parts wherever they fit, and others that apparently run computational fluid-dynamics simulations over the most mundane features to squeeze every last ounce of range out of their cars. Guess which one Rivian decided to be when designing the upcoming R2 SUV. One of the tiny features that Rivian's engineers obsessed over when designing the truck was the rear wiper.
While mainstream vehicles usually get comprehensive updates every few years, low-volume exotics tend evolve more gradually. Supercar platforms often remain unchanged for a decade or more, with manufacturers instead focusing on what can be tuned, massaged, added, or subtracted to keep their lineups fresh. Every once in a while, though, a performance car debuts that truly earns the label "all-new," and the Lamborghini Temerario is one of them.
The new NOBL FAR Series rims are the widest, strongest, and lightest they've ever made, and they come with lots of build options to turn them into complete wheels. Designed to optimize aerodynamics with wide tires, they're also exceptionally lightweight while claiming toughness inspired by the brand's mountain bike rims. An impressive trio of features, so let's see how they do it...
These aren't your hum-drum, mass-produced, "made in China" bike parts. Every set of wheels from Scribe Cycling is 100% hand-built at their center in Belfast, Ireland. The company is keen on only using high filament Japanese Toray carbon fiber for its carbon wheelsets, and T1000 from South Korea for their Ultra range, keeping them ultra-durable and ultra-lightweight. Plus, Scribe's high-touch ethos extends to its customer service team, too.
Speed through multiplied power was one of the main goals of this project, and to that end, Van Rysel designed the FTP^2 to integrate seamlessly with the Mahle M40 pedal assist drive unit. Originally designed for eMTBs, the mid-drive M40 is one of the most powerful units on the market, capable of putting out up to 105 Nm of torque and 850 watts of peak power.
Lamborghini has always represented the extreme edge of automotive performance. Every model produced by the brand is designed around speed, stability and unmistakable visual identity. Nothing in a Lamborghini is accidental, and this applies equally to exterior aerodynamic components. One of the most important yet often misunderstood elements is the rear spoiler. A Lamborghini spoiler is not simply an aesthetic addition. It is a functional component that plays a measurable role in how the car behaves at speed.
Created under the new sub brand, Kosmera, the EV had a good first impression at the mega event. Called the Kosmera Nebula 1, the four-door electric supercar concept produces 1,876 hp courtesy of the quad-motor electric drivetrain rated at a combined 1,399 kilowatts. The company says the performance car goes from zero to 62 mph in just 1.8 seconds, which is better than the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
Created as part of an ambitious aerodynamic experiment, the 1954 Alfa Romeo B.A.T. 7 quickly came to be seen as the most visually arresting and conceptually daring of the three Berlina Aerodinamica Tecnica studies. Conceived by Franco Scaglione for Bertone, it represented a moment when imagination and science moved in perfect synchrony. First unveiled at the Turin Motor Show, the B.A.T. 7 startled audiences with a form unlike anything on the road at the time.
But Ford had to rethink truck design a bitand for good reason. Ford was one of the first traditional automakers to take electric vehicles seriously, especially after it looked with envy at Tesla's success. The Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning both enjoyed critical acclaim and strong sales in their segments, especially at first. There were only two problems: one, the sales of both were far below Ford's own projections (and what the auto industry as a whole predicted for EVs.)
Drawing influences from the 1968 race car prototype named the Mantis XP, the concept car is built as a futuristic track vehicle, not made for roads but for testing ideas about shape and movement, with its expressive and pointed forms. The designer, always looking at the Mantis XP's structure, has revamped its proportions to modernize the vintage experimental racing car and fit the new systems and rules of modern track racing.
MAAP designed and engineered the PRO Aero Jersey around three core principles: (1) uncompromised speed, (2) thermoregulation, and (3) comfort. Using innovative fabric technologies, feedback from pro riders at the highest level, and MAAP's design expertise, the brand released its highest-performing jersey yet. Now, MAAP has taken the same jersey the pros wear and made it available to all. MAAP's AARTERO Flyte Fabric MAAP believes that at the heart of their new PRO Aero Jersey is its new proprietary AARTERO Flyte fabric.
Wilier Triestina has always treated speed as something poetic - not just a measurement, but a feeling. With the new Filante SLR ID2, that idea gets a complete redesign. Developed alongside the Groupama-FDJ WorldTour Team, Wilier's latest flagship aero bike isn't just another incremental update. The Filante SLR ID2 sets a New Standard for Speed for Wilier. A complete rethink of what "aero efficiency" means when the rider is part of the equation.
Mirrors are the past - cameras are the future. With ProViu® Mirror, AUMOVIO replaces traditional wing mirrors on commercial vehicles and sets new standards in safety, visibility and efficiency. High-resolution cameras and displays deliver a clear surround view without bulky housings. Conventional mirrors create blind spots, impair visibility in rain, snow, or low-setting sun, and cause air resistance. ProViu® Mirror removes these drawbacks.
One of the concepts that Toyota plans to unveil at the Japan Mobility Show this year is a futuristic (and likely fully electric) interpretation of a Corolla sedan. The car seems to advance the design language that we've already seen on Toyota's production models, but it's more angular and futuristic. It's definitely a Corolla because it says so on the back. Had it not had Corolla' lettering on its trunklid, you wouldn't know what it's meant to be because it looks nothing like today's model.
The Porsche 911 has long been the standard-bearer for driver-focused performance cars, and the Carrera T represents one of its most purist iterations. Now, German tuning house TECHART is elevating this already engaging sports coupe with the unveiling of the Tsport R, a comprehensive upgrade package that blends performance enhancements, striking design cues, and tailored craftsmanship. The Tsport R has been engineered to push the Carrera T beyond factory specifications while preserving the DNA that makes the 911 a legend.
The latest set of wheels from Cadex didn't set out chasing a reduction in weight but rather aimed to balance weight, aerodynamics, stiffness, and comfort. Their design includes a depth of 36mm, hookless bead, and carbon fibre spokes, resulting in some of the lightest wheels available.
