An 18-year-old drove the wrong way on I-93 in Concord and struck a pickup; both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A passenger died when a Toyota Camry entered southbound Highway 17 wrong way near Los Gatos, striking two cars; intoxication was a suspected factor.
