The trooper, responding to the wrong-way vehicle, encountered her car between Exit 8 and Exit 9 while driving west. The woman’s Nissan Kicks struck the cruiser. She was arrested and charged with felony reckless conduct, second-degree assault, and criminal mischief, plus misdemeanor DUI and aggravated DUI. A passenger was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, contempt, and violating conditions of release. Medical evaluations found no significant injuries.
