The San Francisco Fire Department performed a rescue and put out a car fire on Junipero Serra Boulevard Sunday morning, and one person in the crash required hospitalization. The crash and subsequent fire happened just after 10 am on Sunday, January 4, and the SFFD says they soon responded to the scene at Junipero Serra Boulevard and Brotherhood Way, in the vicinity of the Outer Mission near the Daly City border.
Police in the small town of Alexandria, New Hampshire, recently warned drivers to look out for moose after the latest vehicle vs. moose collision, the second within a week.
Port Authority police are investigating a vehicle collision that ended with gunfire just outside JFK Airport on Tuesday. According to authorities, the incident unfolded just before 5 a.m. on Dec. 16 on the southbound Van Wyck Expressway near the entrance to the international airport, where two vehicles collided. This resulted in a road rage dispute that saw several shots being fired. While police reported that no one was injured in the gunfire, a vehicle was struck by a bullet.
BURGLARY: 10:26 p.m. on Regent Drive. A caller told their neighbor that they saw two suspects with flashlights enter the house around 9:45 p.m. They theorized that the suspects smashed a window at the back door to gain access to the house. The house was ransacked, especially the home office. A safe was taken. The suspects were associated with a dark Mercedes sedan.
