A wrong-way driver collided with a state trooper’s cruiser after the trooper positioned it to stop further danger.
Officers were called to the Park Place shopping centre on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. for reports of a driver who had allegedly hit several protective pillars outside an indoor play facility. Residents who called police said the driver had nearly gone into the building's main entrance.
The term of the plea agreement stipulates that Matthew Dominguez will be sentenced to three years and two months in prison; however, he will not serve additional time due to jail credits.
