SWANSEA, Wales -- Martha Stewart has joined pal Snoop Dogg as a minority owner of Welsh soccer team Swansea City. The former Premier League club, which plays in the English second division, didn't disclose financial details in Tuesday's announcement about the American businesswoman and media personality. The American lifestyle entrepreneur, 84, was in attendance last Friday for Swansea's 2-1 home victory over Wrexham - the other Welsh side currently making global headlines through celebrity ownership.

The rapper and pop culture icon will perform during the halftime show at the Detroit Lions-Minnesota Vikings game in Minneapolis on Dec. 25 as part of Netflix's NFL Christmas Gameday streaming event. Dubbed "Snoop's Holiday Halftime Party," the show will feature hit songs, special guests and holiday cheer, Netflix said in a news release. "NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We're servin' up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy," Snoop Dogg said in the news release. "That's the kind of holiday magic Santa can't fit in a bag."

Netflix, which will air the NFL Christmas Day showdown between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, announced the Grammy-nominated rapper as its halftime performer on Tuesday. While Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., is known for his West Coast rap hits such as "Gin and Juice" and "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang," he has also dabbled in Christmas music, releasing "Santa Claus Goes Straight to the Ghetto" in 1996.

"Sometimes the calendar gets in the way of the celebration, which is why my NBC family and I decided this winter was time for us all to focus on the Olympics. "But don't worry, we'll party together bigger and better later in 2026. Ya dig,"
