Snoop Dogg shocks British curling pair with request for photo at Winter Olympics
"Mouat and Dodds had maintained their unbeaten record so far at the Games with a 7-4 win over tough opponents Sweden, but were just as pleased to meet the US superstar. We saw him at half-time. We saw he was sat next to [US curler] Cory [Thiesse]'s mum. He asked for a photo with us, so I am feeling pretty good about myself, reported Mouat. The duo were asked what the musician said to them, with Dodds replying: He heard about Bruce!"
"Coach Snoop looked good today, a fired-up Dropkin said. I'm just here to cheer, uplift and maybe drop a little wisdom from the sidelines, Team USA athletes are the real stars, Snoop said. This team represents the best of what sport can be: talent, heart and hustle. If I can bring a little more love and motivation to that, that's a win for me."
Snoop Dogg attended Olympic curling in Cortina and interacted with competitors. British curlers Bruce Mouat and Jennifer Dodds remained unbeaten after a 7-4 win over Sweden and posed for a photo with the rapper. Snoop wore a USA jacket featuring photos of Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin, serves as an honorary coach for the US team and is a special correspondent for NBC. He tried sweeping a stone and carried the Olympic flame earlier in the week. The American pair beat Canada 7-5 before a raucous US crowd. Mouat and Dodds will next face Korea.
